GESOPS Must Address Tier-Two Arrears to Avoid NPRA Fees.
In a recent press release, Teacher Unions will not tolerate delay in payment of GESOPS Tier-Two deductions arrears. GESOPS will take steps to ensure Regulator’s fees are paid by March 2023.
NPRA fees are referred to as NPRA fees. GESOPS tier-two is in arrears by 8 months, causing concern among plan sponsors.
GESOPS has decided to actively protect the interests of plan sponsors and beneficiaries by halting or withholding NPRA fees until the arrears are paid in full.
As a result, it is imperative for GESOPS to take immediate action and address the arrears of GESOPS Tier-Two deductions. Failure to do so may result in serious consequences, including a potential loss of trust among plan sponsors and beneficiaries.
Paying NPRA fees is of utmost importance as it enables the Authority to regulate and supervise Ghana’s pensions industry, and the collected fees finance its operations. By withholding the fees, GESOPS may be putting its regulatory compliance at risk.
In conclusion, it is crucial for GESOPS to address the arrears of GESOPS Tier-Two deductions as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary consequences. As plan sponsors, we have a responsibility to protect the interests of all stakeholders involved.
GESOPS must take immediate action to maintain trust and confidence of plan sponsors and beneficiaries.
