- The BECE home Mocks are administered to candidates in their various homes through their parents.
- The exam is set by top examiners and experienced subject teachers.
- Mock Questions are delivered to parents in their PDF format.
- Parents print the questions and carry out the mock in their homes.
- During the mock, parents or their representatives at the home serve as the invigilators.
- The examination is written based on the timetable issued, however, we allow for flexibility since the examination questions do not leak and no student knows the other candidate taking the exam.
- At the end of each exam/paper, parents scan answers for each subject and send them to Ghana Education News for marking and grading. We provide an app and a set of procedures for scanning.
- After marking the scripts, students are graded per subject, the examiners give each parent an examiner’s report which explains all student-specific strengths and weaknesses for each subject and questions if need be. We offer professional examination-passing recommendations for improvement.
- The student’s result and the examiner’s reports are hosted on our website and using the student’s index number or parent’s phone number as the index number, you can access the results from home on a desktop or a laptop.
- The home mocks are administered from Friday evening to Sunday evening to ensure, a candidate’s normal school hours are not affected by the exam.
- At the end of the marking. We make available to the candidate, the examiner’s suggested solutions for the questions for each mock, and the marked scripts or papers to aid students in preparing and polishing their answers to such questions.
- Those who did not take part in the mock can always buy the questions and the marking schemes and download them instantly for practice purposes.
