Ghana Gas Completes ICT Centre and 8 Unit Teachers’ Quarters
At Mampong, Ghana Gas completes ICT Centre and 8-unit teachers’ quarters. The Ashanti Mampong Municipality in the Ashanti Region has recently witnessed the commissioning of two significant projects by the Ghana National Gas Company.
The first project is an information and communication technology (ICT) centre at Nana Adjei Brempong Basic School, while the second project is a teachers’ quarter at St. Monica’s Junior High School.
Gas Completes two-storey ICT centre equipped with a computer laboratory, a library, science and technology facilities, as well as a home economics department.
This state-of-the-art facility will undoubtedly enhance the educational experience of the students and provide them with access to modern technology.
On the other hand, the teachers’ quarter consists of eight self-contained units, each with a kitchen and a balcony. The gas company has furnished these quarters, ensuring that the teachers have comfortable and convenient living spaces.

Thomas Appiah Kubi, the Member of Parliament for Asante Mampong, expressed his gratitude to the Ghana National Gas Company for their continuous support in the development of the Mampong municipality.
He acknowledged the company’s commitment to providing essential infrastructure and projects that contribute to the progress of the entire country.
The Ghana National Gas Company has undertaken various projects in the Mampong Municipality, including teachers’ quarters at Sekuruwa and Daaho, a girls’ dormitory at Attah, an ongoing construction of an Astroturf, and the establishment of a state-of-the-art ICT classroom block.
Nana Owusu Ansah Ababio, a Board Member of the Ghana National Gas Company, commended the headmistress of St. Monica’s JHS and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for their dedication and efforts in ensuring the successful completion of these projects.

Overall, these initiatives by the Ghana National Gas Company demonstrate their commitment to supporting education and infrastructure development in the Ashanti Mampong Municipality and beyond.
Mrs. Cynthia Ama Nyantakyi, Principal of St. Monica’s Junior High School (JHS), conveyed her sincere thanks to Ghana Gas for their continuous dedication and backing towards educational endeavors, as well as for successfully executing this initiative.
