Ghana to announce 26-man squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup

Ghana coach Atto Addo will announce his 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be staged in Qatar between 20th November and 18th December.

Captain Dede Ayew, Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey are the three top players who are surely going to make it to Qatar.

The list of 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be facing Switzerland on 17th November before heading to Qatar.

Ghana edged Nigeria out in a two-leg final qualifying play-off on the away goal advantage to reach their 4th World Cup appearance after a poor outing in Brazil.

The Black Stars are in Group H at the World Cup, alongside former Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea. Ghana will be looking forward to beating or securing at least a point from their games against Portugal and Uruguay and getting a convincing win against South Korea to progress to the round of 16. However, Ghana has the ability to win Two games at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in the group stages.

Their opening game will be against Portugal on 24th November 2022
