Ghana’s Black Stars beat Switzerland
In a friendly match against Switzerland on Thursday morning, the Black Stars of Ghana played better and scored two goals.
As part of their preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Ghana national team played the Swiss in a friendly match in Abu Dhabi today.
At the Zayed Sports City Stadium, there was a lot going on in the first half of the game, which Ghana won.
The team had a lot of chances to win, but none of them worked out, so they had to settle for a tie at halftime.
In the second half, Switzerland started off better and gave Ghana’s defense a lot of trouble.
But because the Black Stars played well, the team was able to hold on as long as they needed to.
After a few changes at the hour mark, Ghana took control of the game again and kept it that way.
Mohammed Salisu scored his first goal for Ghana in the 69th minute, giving the Black Stars the lead they deserved.
Five minutes later, Bristol City attacker Antoine Semenyo jumped on a loose ball in the six-yard box of the Swiss and fired a shot from close range that went into the back of the net.
In the end, the Black Stars won 2-0 and had a great way to end their training camp in Abu Dhabi.
