Headmaster lashes SHS female student to pulp for helping another

Ghana Education News| Headmaster lashes SHS female student to a pulp for helping another student out of trouble.
For aiding a colleague, a 19-year-old female student at Jackie Pramso Senior High School (SHS) in Bosomtwe District, Ashanti Region, suffered the beating of her life.
Why the Headmaster lashed the SHS female student
She donated her jacket to a male colleague who had been punished, and that was the sole offense that warranted such harsh punishment from the headmaster of Jackie Pramso SHS, Miss Mary Amoako.
19-year-old Mary Amoako was punished with several lashes by her headmaster because she was generous enough to lend her jacket to a male student who showed up for class without a uniform.
the headmaster instructed him to remove his unprescribed shirt and walk half-naked to the dorms to change into a uniform before he returned to class, according to Mary,
Visibly traumatized Miss Amoako recounted her incident to media, explaining that she subsequently gave the kid her jacket to wear after he was stripped of his tee-shirt and left by the headmaster.
The headmaster, however, did not like Miss Amoako’s kind gesture. He noticed the youngster heading to the dormitory while wearing a jacket, according to sources at the school.
When the already infuriated headmaster found out that it was Miss Amoako who gave the lad the jacket, he gave her several lashes on her back, leaving the 19-year-old final-year female student with significant bruises.
After the tragic event, social media users began asking what happened to the guidelines of the Ghana Education Service that prohibited instructors from canning children.
