Abetifi Presby Senior High was the first second cycle institution established on the Kwahu Ridge in 1956 as a private co-educational institution. In 1963, it entered into partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. In 1965, the Government of Ghana took over the school.

Mission

To implement the pre-tertiary aspect of the goals of the ministry of education by ensuring that teachers give their best, ensure strict discipline among staff and students and provide relevant inputs in order to enhance teaching and learning in such a way to achieve high quality education and training that could improve the manpower needs of the country.
