How to buy result checker for 2024 NOVDEC results released

The results released are provisionals according to WAEC. In all, 38,316 students sat the examination. This is made up of 17,596 males and 21,131 females.

Out of the number who registered for the examination, some 1354 candidates did not turn up to write the exam.

The results can be accessed from the WAEC portal at www.waecgh.org. Candidates will need their index numbers, a valid WAEC result checker, and stable internet to check the results.

Some students who failed the 2023 school exam and took the private WASSCE engaged in examination malpractices leading to the cancellation of their results by WAEC. In all, WAEC has cancelled the subject results of 303 students. Another 108 students had their entire results cancelled by WAEC.

WAEC has also cautioned candidates to be wary of criminals who promise to change their bad results to good ones. It is added that such services are illegal and their systems are robust to prevent such illegal changes.

Any parent, student or other stakeholder who engages the services of such illegal actors does so at their own risk since the security features of the WAEC result portal are good enough to prevent all kinds of breaches and intruders.  Those who have failed the exam are encouraged to resit the paper in the second series, which will be written later in the year.
