In order for you to migrate or relocate to the United States (US), you need to understand the procedures and requirements as well. Migrating to the US can be considered as a difficult task, but if one follows all the required steps it should be easier.
Normally, Africans relocate or move to the United States for permanent residence and thereafter obtain a green card. A green card is a form of identification that one is a certified citizen of the United States.
Also, the rate at which Africans are granted the green card is very low. But, then we will go through some easy steps or ways in order to move to the US and obtain a green card as well.
Best Legal Routes To Immigrate To The US As An African
1. Via Work Visas
One of the easiest and legal ways for Africans to immigrate to the US is through work visas. This type of visa is given to either skilled or nonskilled workers by employers who have been legalized to sponsor workers from Africa. One should know that there are different forms of work visas.
2. The Family/Sibling Immigration
This is one of the most used routes that numerous Africans use to immigrate to the United States (US). This form of immigration route is legalized for United States citizens (with green cards) and those with approved permanent residency. These citizens can sponsor any of the family members or even siblings to the US regardless of age.
3. Study Visas
This is also another route that Africans can use to immigrate to the US. Basically, there are only two forms of study visas, and thus;
- M Visa
- F visa
The M visa is basically for vocational studies that means nonacademic courses and the F visa is issued for academic programmes. There are certain limitations to this type of visa.
