How to update your University of Ghana Admission with WASSCE results
The Academic Affairs Directorate of the University of Ghana has called on all 2022 WASSCE graduates who started their admission processes to log onto their portals and update them with their just released WASSCE results by WAEC, Review the accuracy of entries, particularly: Full Name and Date of Birth; Examination records (Index Number, Exam Month, Exam Year).

How to update your University of Ghana Admission with WASSCE results
Follow the following steps to update your admission data. The University of Ghana has advised WASSCE graduates seeking admission to log in again to the UG applications portal to:
1. Log on to the admission page with your ID and Password as provided by the UG
2. Review the accuracy of entries, particularly:
• Full Name and Date of Birth;
• Examination records (Index Number, Exam Month, Exam Year).
3. Refer to the UG 2021/2022 entry cut-off aggregates for various programmes at https://admission.ug.edu.gh/applying/content/cut-
points and make realistic choices.
According to the UG, applications for 2022/2023 admissions are still open and interested persons may purchase e-vouchers at designated banks or through the USSD code *887*18# on all mobile telecommunication networks.
Upon purchasing the e-Vouchers, candidates can log into the admission portal to apply for their programmes of choice and provide the required BIO DATA as well.

The application portal will be closed at Midnight on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Ahead of the announcement of this new update by the UG, many students are yet to get access to the WASSCE result checker due to the shortage of cards on the market since Thursday 1st December 2022.
The date given shows that students have only Two days to get this done which will place many in disadvantaged positions.
