I Killed My Husband Because I Was Tired Of The Marriage – Lady Reveals
Fatima Abubakar, a female suspect, was detained a few days ago by agents of the Borno state Police command after she reportedly mixed poison with her husband’s meal, resulting in his death.
According to Punch News, the culprit, who is claimed to be 25 years old, was apprehended on October 19, 2022.
The suspect confessed to the Borno State Police Command while being paraded that she planned to murder her spouse, Goni Abbah, because she was bored with the relationship.
The suspect confessed that the dead was her second spouse and that she had divorced her first husband because she was no longer satisfied with her marriage.
The suspect said that she gets enraged once she learns she is married. She said that she had no problems with the dead, but the prospect of her marrying annoys her.
“I never wanted the marriage,” she allegedly said. Goni was my second spouse; I divorced my first husband because I despise marriage.”

“It irritates me every time I wake up with the knowledge that I am married. I had to rush to my parents at one point to demand an end to the marriage, but they always sent me back, telling me to be patient. I went away two months after giving birth to my kid and spent two weeks sleeping in an unfinished building. Later, I went back to my husband’s residence.”
“Not that he doesn’t treat me nicely; we also don’t argue. We are a two-person home; I am his second wife, and we have been married since 2021. But I despise every male who comes near me.”
The suspect went on to say that she doesn’t know what’s wrong with her and that she doesn’t believe she murdered her spouse.
