It Is Possible To Bring Back Alan Kyeremanten – Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu Calls On NPP

The member of Parliament for Suame constituency, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who is also the majority leader of Parliament and also the minister for Parliamentary affairs,is calling on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to help bring Alan Kyeremanten back to the party. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu believes that it is possible to bring him back.
He explained that Alan Kyerematen is one of the valuable people the NPP shouldn’t lose. Additionally, the leadership of the party should try everything to bring him back, even if there is a slim chance.

“I think that every effort must be made, even if it’s a one percent possibility. Let’s see what will come out of it. We are talking about Alan’s situation, where we are saying that let’s still engage if he will come back. To now go into specifics will be a difficulty; it may hamper the reconciliation I’m suggesting.
“It’s possible to bring him back.”
Alan Kyeremanten officially resigned from the New Patriotic Party and announced that he will be contesting the 2024 General Elections as an Independent Candidate.
Alan Kyeremanten made this revelation while addressing the media at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra. Alan Kyeremanten added that the party has treated his supporters as outcasts and has designed to resign from the party. He will contest as an Independent candidate with a Butterfly logo.
A few weeks ago, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen officially withdrew from the Flagbearership Race of the New Patriotic Party. According to many, it was a sign of his resignation from the NPP.
“In light of the foregoing, I wish to confirm that I am honourably withdrawing from the process that will lead to the Presidential Primaries to be held on the 4th of November 2023. In the next upcoming weeks, I will provide an indication of the role that I will play in politics in Ghana, after consultations with my family and other well-wishers, various stakeholders, and interest groups,” he added.

Mr. Kyerematen who placed third in the party’s August 26 special delegates conference said he opted out of the race following the intimidation of agents.
He also said the race seems to be deliberately skewed to favour one of the candidates.
