Job Vacancy For Professors / Associate Professors of Engineering

Pentecost University is seeking to appoint a Chair or Associate Chair (Professor / Associate Professor) in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering or Digital Systems Simulation to join their vibrant research group in their international digital centre. The successful candidate shall develop and supervise PhD research students and research Fellows in the Lifecycle engineering of manufacturing processes

Job Summary

• The role involves frequent travels abroad for international meetings, presentation of Research Group findings to the European Commission, co-supervising internal and external PhD researchers and Research Fellows, pushing and directing the agenda of innovative manufacturing in Ghana
• The role is suitable for vibrant and ambitious academic who is looking for an opportunity to excel in advanced engineering technologies. Junior academics may be considered and trained for this high international responsibility

Qualification Required & Experience

• PhD in the related area
• Postdoctoral experience – Senior Lecturer, Senior Research Fellow and Professors

Experience, Desirable Attributes, Knowledge and skills

• Distinguished knowledge in advanced or Digital systems simulation
• Skills in Lifecycle modelling
• Demonstrate experience in leading research
• Experience in technical project leadership
• Experience in international project management
• Publications in the area
• Skills in modelling softwares such as Delmia, apriori and other tools for lifecycle analysis
• Knowledge in software creation and integration of engineering software application
• Must have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
• Must have flexible approach to work including weekends
• Excellent grant writing skills and advance knowledge in presentation software applications
