Just In: Quick Update To All NSS Personnel’s In This Region; Payment Of Allowance

Update On the Payment Of June NSS Allowance

National Service scheme has issued a quick and straightforward notice to all service personnel in the Oti Region of Ghana. It was reported last week that, the National Service Scheme mistakenly did not pay all National Service personnel in the Oti Region of Ghana as a result of an issue that confronted the Regional Direct of Oti and Volta Region (NSS).

All National Service personnel in the Oti Region are not happy about the delay of their July allowance. Their headache has to do with why all National Service Personnel across the sixteen (16) Regions in Ghana received their July allowance except only those in the Oti Region.

Waking up this morning, a quick notice has been delivered to all NSS personnel in the Oti Region to exercise patience as their payment has reached the final stage for distribution to various accounts will take place. With this notice, the NSS personnel have been assured to receive their July allowance by Wednesday 20th of September 2023.

Take a look at the Notice from the Regional President below.

Subject: updates on unpaid July allowances and the underpayment lists.

NSS July Allowance

I bring you warm greetings from our OTI regional director and the regional NASPA leadership

The necessary follow-ups were successfully made when the regional director visited the Headquarters in Accra, the necessary arrangements were made and we are in the final stage of payment. It is likely the money has been paid or will hit your account at the end of the day and you may cash out either today or tomorrow morning.

To NSPs in Volta, the underpayment list has been submitted to the NSS headquarters in Accra and those in charge promised to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation”. Unfortunately, they are yet to receive the  July allowance and have not even taken out of August. Things are very hard and monies for NSS personnel should not be delayed. There are a lot of financial challenges that people are facing in this country.
