The elder/deacon of the Pentecost Church a Ghanaian church in South Africa was kidnapped on last Sunday, 29th October, 2023 when some young group of armed robbers invaded the church premises, looting the congregation of their belongings and after, taking the elder along with them which the purpose of their actions is obscure.

The victim so far has been held captive by these group of hooligans for two days before his release.
On the other hand the Church of Pentecost in Ghana led by the Chairman of the Pentecostal council Rev. Dr. Eric Nyamekye declared a three (3) days fasting and prayers for the victim to see to it that the almighty intervenes so that captive is set free. (Kidnapped Pentecost Elder in South Africa). The fasting started yesterday 31st of October and is set to end on the 2nd of November. Lo and behold the fasting though isn’t ended but the victim has been set free and is safe and sound indicating that their plea has been duly heard by the almighty. He also stated that the fasting is also to be held and pray to the almighty God to help restore world peace since the Israel and Hamas war is getting more and more intense. He also pleaded the Church that the church should pray for Ukraine and other war prone countries.
