KNUST 2023-2024 registration date for freshmen & continuing students out
KNUST 2023-2024 registration date for freshmen & continuing students out. The proactive management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has released the 2024 registration date for freshmen and continuing students.
The KNUST 2023-2024 registration date for freshmen and continuing students will follow the dates and procedures outlined below. Students are to take note of the dates and ensure they complete the registrations. The registration will be done at two levels. The online registration will be followed by the biometric registration.
Online Course Registration for Continuing and Freshmen Students
Online Course Registration for Continuing Students starts on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, and ends on Saturday, January 20th, 2024.
For freshmen, their online course registration is scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, and end on Monday, February 5th, 2024.
Online Biometric Registration for Continuing and Freshmen Students
The KNUST biometric registration for continuing students will commence on Monday, January 15, 2024, and end on Monday, February 5th, 2024.
Biometric registration for freshmen starts on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, and ends on Monday, February 5th, 2024.
The admission portal for WASSCE or undergrad applicants is expected to close today.
Students who fail to do the online registration and the biometric registration will be deemed to have been deferred from their programme by the university. Both new and continuing students will not qualify to hold themselves as students of the KNUST if they fail to do both registrations within the stated periods.

Update on pending, withheld and blocked results
In a related development, WASSCE graduates with pending, withheld, and blocked results should note that these descriptions will affect their chances of admission.
Apart from those who have their results cancelled and probably blocked, the rest (W/P) may be released to you.
It affects admission because it may not be released before it ends, which makes it difficult to apply for tertiary admission. The KNUST portal closes today, which means that even if it comes before admission, you won’t have a chance to adjust your programmes to meet the requirements.
Such results mostly come out with C4, C5, and the rest, but only a few come out with A1-B3.
We hope this update on the KNUST 2023-2024 registration date for freshmen & continuing students out has been useful.
