KNUST Announces 2024/2025 First Semester Registration and Fee Payment Details
Ahead of the release of the 2024-2025 admissions for KNUST applicants, the university has announced the registration dates and fee payment structure for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
KNUST has also announced 3rd January as the closing date for admissions and has advised all applicants to crosscheck their biodata, programme choices, index number etc ahead of the closure of the portal at midnight of the said date.
KNUST 2024/2025 First Semester Registration Details
According to the Directorate of Student Affairs, online registration for continuing students will begin on January 2, 2025, and end on January 31, 2025.
Postgraduate and international freshmen will also register online within the same period, from January 2 to January 31, 2025.
Biometric registration for continuing students will commence on Monday, January 13, 2025 and continue until January 31, 2025. The same timeline applies to postgraduate and international students.

KNUST 2024/2025 First Semester Fee Payment Details
The KNUST Directorate of Student Affairs has informed the public that students admitted to any program must pay at least 50% of the approved fees before they can register for courses.
Students who fail to meet the payment or registration requirements within the stipulated period will automatically be deemed to have deferred their program.
To complete their registration, students must:
- Pay the minimum required fees.
- Complete both online and offline registrations.
- Submit a copy of the registration printout to their department for validation.
Enforcement of Fee Payment Regulations for 2024/2025
- From the 2024-2025 academic year, students must pay at least 50% of their total approved fees to register for courses.
- Students who fail to register by the fourth week of the semester will be deemed to have deferred their program.
- Specific fee payment arrangements for Institute of Distance Learning students will be communicated before registration begins.
