KNUST Issues Scam Alert on Fraudulent Admission Syndicates Targeting Applicants

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has cautioned all prospective students against the activities of a fraudulent admission syndicate targeting applicants seeking admission into the university.

The university’s management has observed the operations of certain criminal syndicates falsely claiming to facilitate admissions for prospective students.

It further revealed that these syndicates use fake emails, including knust.inscript.gmail.com and knust.Inscript.gmail.com, to fraudulently obtain payments and personal information from unsuspecting applicants.

KNUST has categorically disassociated itself from such fraudulent activities, emphasizing that it has not contracted any individuals, agents, or third parties to handle admissions on its behalf.
