The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has cautioned all prospective students against the activities of a fraudulent admission syndicate targeting applicants seeking admission into the university.
The university’s management has observed the operations of certain criminal syndicates falsely claiming to facilitate admissions for prospective students.
It further revealed that these syndicates use fake emails, including knust.inscript.gmail.com and knust.Inscript.gmail.com, to fraudulently obtain payments and personal information from unsuspecting applicants.
KNUST has categorically disassociated itself from such fraudulent activities, emphasizing that it has not contracted any individuals, agents, or third parties to handle admissions on its behalf.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ALERT ON FRAUDULENT ADMISSION SYNDICATE
The management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has identified the operations of criminal syndicates falsely claiming to facilitate admissions for prospective students.
These syndicates operate under the guise of fraudulent emails, such as knust.Inscript.gmail.com and knust.inscript.gmail.com, to solicit payments and personal information from unsuspecting applicants.
KNUST wishes to state unequivocally that it has not authorized any individuals, agents, or third parties to handle admissions on its behalf. All admission processes are managed solely by the university’s admissions office. We urge all prospective students and their parents/guardians to disregard such fraudulent communications and report them immediately to the nearest police station.
For clarity, we remind all stakeholders that the official KNUST admission forms can be obtained through the following authorized channels:
- Undergraduate Admission Forms: Available at all Regional Post Offices nationwide, or dial the short code *855# and follow the prompts to purchase forms.
- Postgraduate Admission Forms: Available at designated banks.
