KNUST makes it to the 2022 Top 20 Best Global Universities in Africa, UG missing from the list.
The U.S. News Best Global Universities Rankings for 2022 have been released, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology made it to the Top 20 Best Global Universities in Africa.
The Global ranking of universities saw Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology, Kumasi placing 12th with a Global Score 49.9 and with a student enrolment of 74,441.
Strangely the University of Ghana did not make it to the top 20 universities in Africa.
The universities captured on the league table are added by merit by looking at their research performance and their ratings by members of the academic community around the world in the region. South African Universities dominated the world rankings with the University of Capetown, South Africa topping the league table with a Global score of 70%.
