Mahama to begin two-day tour of Oti Region starting April 16
Former president John Dramani Mahama, who is running for flagbearer in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will visit the Oti Region starting on April 16 to meet with party members, officials, activists, and supporters.
The potential flagbearer would speak with Branch, Constituency, and regional executives during the visit to inform them of his goals and plans for the country.
To ensure a successful event, the chairmen of the nine constituencies were urged in a statement that was copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
It stated that the constituency chairmen had already discussed the visit with the region’s leadership, which was led by Kwadwo Gyapong.
On the first day, it was stated, John Mahama would speak with a few social and economic groups in the Guan, Buem, Biakoye, Krachi East, and Krachi West constituencies.
He is also anticipated to speak with representatives from the Krachi Nchumuru, Nkwanta North, Nkwanta South, and Akan constituencies.
