All the African Countries that participated in 2022 World Cup in Qatar, only one of them was able to top their group. At the end of the group stages, Senegal placed second in their group, Cameroon placed third in their group, Black Stars of Ghana placed fourth in their Group. However, Morocco was able to defy all odd by beating Belgium and Canada and securing a point from Croatia to top their group.

At the end of the group stages, Morocco secured 7 points, Croatia secured 5 points, Belgium Obtained 4 points and Canada had no points. Belgium and Canada were eliminated from the group stages and Croatia and Morocco proceeded to the round of 16th.
