Mike Pence Withdraws From 2024 US Presidential Race
Mike Pence, the former US Vice President, has officially withdrawn from the 2024 presidential race. Upon his withdrawal, he stated that it was not yet his time to be president.
The former Vice President, Mike Pence, made this announcement in Las Vegas on the afternoon of Saturday at the Republican Jewish Coalition.
Mr. Mike Pence is deemed to be the first Republican candidate to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. His decision came as a result of the lack of support from Republican voters.
Also, according to reports, the former US Vice President, Mike Pence, went into debt because of his campaign. At the end of September this year, his estimated debt was $621,000. However, he had only $1.2 million in the bank.
In his statement of withdrawal, he stated that he was leaving his campaign and clearly stated that it was not yet his time and that he would be back.
Mike Pence lost enormous Republican voters after he presided over the 2020 general election, which declared Joe Biden as the certified president.
Former US President Donald Trump disclosed that Mike Pence lacked courage. In 2021, at the halls of Congress, some rioters stormed and were heard shouting “Hang Mike Pence”. Since this incident, Mike Pence has been seen as a traitor.
The former US Vice President also responded to the act of the rioters, making known that their act endangered his family and close ones.
