#NanaMustGo and #KenMustGo are hashtags that are currently trending on Twitter this morning as Ghana’s economic outlook looks life-threatening for ordinary citizens. Trending Now is #NanaMustGo Scores of Social media users are calling on Nana to Step Down as Ghana’s President. This follows calls by the Members of parliament of the ruling NPP government that the President should terminate the appointment of Hon. Ken Ofori Atta as Finance Minister.  

At the time of publishing this story, Fuel prices at some pumps have crossed 17Ghs per litre. Super is now Ghs17.54 per litter and GHS19.94 for a litre of Diesel.

Ken Ofori Atta is impeached however, Ghanaians have reacted to the call with the #NanaMustGo hashtag on Twitter which in itself looks like a vote of no confidence in the President’s ability to redeem the country from the current mess.
