Parents are no longer required to wait for the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) rollout to shop for their children. The national prospectus is organized into basic needs and cleaning materials, simplifying the process for parents.
The second category includes, detergents, sanitary and cleaning materials such as liquid soap, hand gloves, washing powder, bleach and cleaning materials such as brooms, standing mob, mob bucket, and a scrubbing brush.
The harmonised prospectus, Dr Nkansah said, was necessary to eliminate items that schools could do without and also ensure that schools did not include such items and use same as a barrier to the timely enrolment of students
The 2023 school placement is expected to be released before 25th November, 2023. Candidates are advised to prepare for the release.

When the placement results are released, SHS freshers visit their schools to take their prospectus and other admission requirements list. Some of the items listed on the prospectus were not needed. Most of the items on the prospectus were being supplied to the schools by the government. However, some schools do ask freshers to submit these items as part of their admission requirements. GES’ new initiate is a plus to the Ghana Education System.
