“NDC Will Win 2024 Elections If…..” – Kwesi Kwetey
Fiifi Kwetey, a candidate for General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), said that the NDC needs to do what it did in 2008 to win the elections in 2024.
He said that during the 2008 elections, the NDC was able to report its results in real-time and keep the ballots from being changed.
On the Onua FM show “Pae Mu Ka” with Yaa Titi Ocrah, Mr. Kwetey said that the party was cheated in the 2012 elections.
When asked about his plans for the NDC if he becomes the General Secretary, the former lawmaker for Ketu South said, “The most important one, first and foremost, is that every member of this party, every worker of this party, and every executive of this party wants to make sure that what happened in 2020 doesn’t happen again.

“What happened in 2020 was that we were almost in a position to win, but a number of things happened that almost made it impossible for us to win. We had a clear majority in parliament, but a lot of things went wrong.”
He also said, “The way to win is to go back to the way we did things in 2008 when we made sure to work hard enough to get our results early and then protect those results so no one else could change them.
“We saw in 2020 that the results should have been ours, but by the time we found out that the NPP had sent people, some people had already been killed.”
