#1. Level 100 students are advised to keep their provisional offer of admission letters well. Make photocopies and keep them in files since they will be required at one point in time during the semester.
Also keep your picture identification cards well because you will be required to make them available (Voters, Ghana card, or Passports)
#2 When you pay fees, keep all receipts safe. Students are advised to make photocopies, use their phones to take pictures of these receipts, and save them on both phones and in emails. This way you can always have copies to retrieve.
#3 All international students who gained admission to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology should keep their original copies of admission letters safe. You can scan them and save them on your PC, in your emails, and on your phones. This helps retrieve them in case you cannot find the original copy.
#4 To remain safe on campus, observe the COVID-19 safety protocols and instituted by Ghana and KNUST.
#5 Hall Registration – further checks may be done to flush out persons who have not registered or are not supposed to be residents in a given hall. Keep booking receipts intact.
#6 KNUST Freshmen are advised to register when the school organizes biometric registrations as a student. Ensure you do the course registration through the student’s portal.
#7 Pay faculty and department dues -This may range between GHS30-GHS100 depending on your departments. You may receive souvenirs.
#8. Attend freshers orientation, which helps you become familiar with school rules, activities, and vital information. Lecturer time tables may be made available after this event.
#9 KNUST Freshmen and continuing students who will be using cars on campus are to register their cars at the Dean of Students’ office. A student car sticker is provided after the registration.
