Nigeria Decides 2023: Obi Defeats Atiku, Tinubu Inside Aso Rock
Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) and former governor of Anambra State, emerged victorious in the presidential election, defeating Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
According to DailyPost, Obi secured 17 votes at Polling Unit 131, opposite Pilot Gate, State House, Abuja, while Tinubu received 6 votes and Abubakar received 3 votes.
The Labour Party also outperformed the APC and the PDP in the National Assembly elections at the same polling unit.
Prior to this, Obi had already beaten Tinubu and Abubakar in five polling units in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
While voting is still ongoing in some polling units across the country, some units have already started counting votes.
