NSS nurses postings released for the 2021/2022 service year by the National Service year. The newly trained nurses are required to commence their national service on 1st February 2021.
In all, 10,964 newly trained nurses whose postings are out will participate in the mandated National Service for one year.
In the National Service Secretariate’s press release copied to this portal today, the NSS stated that “The newly trained nurses will be posted to accredited health facilities in all the 16 Regions in Ghana.”

In addition, “All eligible nurses who enrolled for national service can access the National Service Scheme’s website www.nss.gov.gh to obtain information on their various places of postings.”
The NSS called on all nurses to “proceed to the various NSS Registration Centres to complete the registration processes.”
The leadership of the National Service Scheme called on the newly trained nurses to accept their postings and “consider it as part of their contribution towards national development”.
The national service registration and documentation process have been made easy through the online processes put in place. Once a newly trained nurse visits the portal, he or she should be able to find his or her way.
