Occupy Julor Bi House (#OccupyJulorBiHouse) Protest Will Happen Tomorrow

The #OccupyJulorBiHouse Protest Will Happen Tomorrow As Planned Per the latest press release. According to the organizers of the protest, the Ghana Police Service has not served them any details contrary to the agreement reached with the police during their engagements.
The #OccupyJulorBiHouse Protest is a combination of English and well-crafted GA words to drive home the essence of the protest. The JulorBi in the protest name is a Ga language word that literally means “The Child of a Thief” This name of the protest can read as Occupy The Child of a Thief’s House Protest where the Jubily house is portrayed as a crime scene in the country per the views of the organizers.
The #OccupyJulorBiHouse Protest is a protest that aims at picketing at the #Jubily House. It will be used to drive home the economic hardship that the country has been plunged in by the Nana Adoo-led government, and corruption issues that are already in the public domain among others.
The planned #OccupyJulorBiHouse Protest starts at the 37 transport station and all Ghanaians have been invited to come out in their numbers.
The march is scheduled to start at exactly 6:30 a.m. as planned.
The organizers have advised the general public to disregard any information circulating that the police have secured a court injunction against the #OccupyJulorBiHouse Protest.
“Our attention has been drawn to a last-minute statement released by the Ghana Police Service claiming that they have filed an application to prohibit the lawful exercise of our right to demonstrate.”
“We wish to put on record that the Ghana Police Service has not served us with any application and we are unaware of what exactly the police application is about.”
Further, we want the general public to know that throughout our engagement with the Police, they kept up ruse, making us believe that they will respect the law and fulfill their obligations under the Public Order Act.”
“We are appalled by the desperate and likely partisan attempts by the Police to disrupt peaceful and democratic mobilization for the upcoming Occupy Julorbi House Picket”
“We invite the general public to disregard the statement which is riddled with misinformation” the state indicated.

Our attention has been drawn to a last-minute press statement released by the Ghana Police Service claiming that they have filed an application to prohibit the lawful exercise of our rights to demonstrate.
We wish to put it on record that the Ghana Police Service has not served us with any application, and we are unaware of what exactly the police application is about.
Further, we want the general public to know that throughout our engagement with the Police, they kept up ruse, making us believe that they will respect the law and fulfill their obligations under the Public Order Act.
We are appalled by the desperate and likely partisan attempts by the Police to disrupt peaceful and democratic mobilization for our upcoming Occupy Julorbi House picket.
We invite the general public to disregard a statement which is riddled with misinformation.
Our Picket will proceed as planned.
We invite the general public to assemble at the 37 Trotro station from 6:30 am tomorrow for onward march to the Julorbi House.
Our decision follows that of the legal position taken by the Government, and the Electoral Commission that the mere filing of an application does not prevent the exercise of constitutional rights.
For God, Country and in the resistance of oppressors’ rule.
Signed
The Convenor
