President Akufo-Addo’s address
President Akufo-Addo’s address will be aired today on GTV exactly at 8 pm, and Ghanaians are eager to listen to what the President has for us.
Gabby Octhere-Darko, a leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), said that suggestions made by stakeholders show that people are genuinely concerned about the country’s well-being before President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-speech Addo’s on the economic problems Ghana is are facing.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will give the speech tonight at 8 PM, on Sunday, October 30.
A number of suggestions have been given by stakeholders,
For example, Dr. John Kwakye, who is the Director of Research at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), has asked him to talk about three important steps to solve the problems.
He thinks the President will talk about putting together a new Economic Management Team (EMT) with experts and professionals, forming a transition team with experts and professionals, and cutting back on spending.

Dr. Kwakye tweeted, “In short, the President’s speech to the nation must include: 1) austerity measures to deal with the crisis, led by the government; 2) a reorganization of the Economic Management Team to include experts and professionals; and 3) a transition team, also made up of experts and professionals.”
“Everyone is looking forward to the President’s speech. It could bring the markets back to life. So, don’t let it let you down,” he said.
I’ve been reading very constructive suggestions on what the President is expected to focus on from a cross section of Ghanaians. It speaks of a nation of citizens, who’re genuinely interested in the well being of our nation. That’s why we believe in Ghana.
