Prof Goski Alabi is Africa’s Most Respected CEO in Tertiary Education

Ghana Education News | Africa’s Most Respected CEO in Tertiary Education has been awarded to Prof Goski Alabi
During an event in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Professor Goski Alabi, Consulting President of Laweh Open University College, was named Africa’s Most Respected CEO in Tertiary Education for 2021. (UAE).
In West Africa, The Business Executive Magazine, a well-respected magazine, organized this event.
Statement from Laweh Open University College to Ghana News Agency: The award scheme’s goal is to provide top CEOs in Africa with an objective way to measure their performance in terms of “quantitative considerations, public image, and appreciation (as ascertained by public voting) when compared against their peers elsewhere on the continent.”
This honor, according to the organizers, is in appreciation of Prof Alabi’s tremendous contributions to Tertiary Education, especially open and distance education in West Africa.
As President of the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE), Prof Alabi dedicated the Award to “the Open and Distance Education Community in Africa,” adding, “It will motivate us all to offer our best to the country and continent of Africa.
She praised God for the honor and thanked the voters for their support and votes.

“Professor Alabi won the Most Outstanding Female in Tertiary Education Award at Ghana’s 6th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards in September 2020,” said the announcement.
