2024 BECE Date and Timetable: Projection
Do you know the examination date for the 2024 BECE? As Junior High Schools in Ghana, parents, teachers, and candidates are waiting for the start of the 2024 BECE registration, stakeholders have already started seeking answers as far as the date and timetable for the examination are concerned.
In this post, Ghana Education News shared its projected examination date for the 2024 BECE. We also share our projected timetable. We want to put on record that these are the projections of the Education-News Consult and not emanating from WAEC or GES. However, given the previous timetables and examination dates released by WAEC, these projections look more likely to be closer to the final date and timetable.
What Is The Projected Examination Date For The 2024 BECE?
WAEC/GES has indicated that July 2024 will be the examination month for 2024 BECE; however, it has yet to provide its start and end dates.
Per our analysis, we project that the 2024 BECE will start on Monday, July 8, 2024, and end on Friday, July 12, 2024.

WAEC has indicated that the 2024 WASSCE, on the other hand, will start on July 1, 2024. Students will undertake their practicals during the first to third week of July as far as the WASSCE is concerned, and during this period, JHS 3 students will write their BECE.

What Is The Projected Examination Timeline For The 2024 BECE?
We project that Carear Technology and Creative Arts and Design will be merged into one single examination during the 2024 BECE, leading to candidates writing 9 subjects instead of 10 under the new curriculum. Based on the above and the examination date above, we project the timetable below.
