Prudential Bank of Ghana has donated a brand new Nissan Navara Pick-up vehicle for the 2023 Ghana Teacher Prize. The vehicle will be presented to the to the second best teacher in Ghana at the 2023 Ghana Teacher Prize occasion.

The 2023 Ghana Teacher Prize will be coming off  Thursday, 5th October, 2023 in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.

According to the National Teaching Council, the most outstanding teacher would be awarded with a three bedroom apartment. Let’s take a look at list of prizes to be presented.

Most Outstanding Teacher – Three Bedroom House

First runner up – 4×4 Pickup

Second Runner Up – Saloon Car

Best teacher in leadership and administration – Saloon Car

Best college of education teacher – 4×4 pickup

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Recognition of a teacher’s achievements in the classroom and beyond from learners, colleagues, heads of schools or members of the wider community.
    For example, through local/national awards and certificates.
  • Employing innovative and effective instructional practices that are replicable and scalable. For example, through the innovative use of technology or non-typical instructional techniques that can be replicated in other classrooms.
  • Achieving demonstrable student learning outcomes in the classroom. For example, through the improvement of student grades, student attendance / behavior; students becoming achievers in the world of work.
  • Achieving demonstrable performance indicators in the area of operation of the individual staff.
