Push for Pull : A Poem by Edem Fodeka
We present another piece of poetry – PUSH FOR PULL poem by Edem Fodeka and inspired by Abena Agyemang-Gyamfi.
PUSH FOR PULL
A wall of success
Is not a mall of sausage
With a wide opened gate
For all buyers
A wall of success
Though narrowly wide
Passage is like a throw
Of a dice at a dinning
Two heads they say
Are better than one
So one must forge ahead
For the other
To offer a push
In return for a pull
If a push were
One man’s job
A pull would have been
A word out of stock
Freeze your progress
With a refused push
For a pull to rest
In your lacuna.
