The National Teaching Council (NTC) in its latest update has called on all qualified Public and Private school teachers to register with the outfit for their licenses. According to the council, only registered teachers, issued with a license, could practice as teachers in Ghana.
In a related development, the National Council of Private School Teachers (NCOPST) in a letter copied to this portal has called on private school teachers to take advantage of the fresh development and register with the NTC.
To ensure its members are not left behind, NCOPST has advised all private school teachers to be fully registered.
NCOPST is by this letter advising all private school teachers to be fully registered because we are in dialogue with the government of Ghana to subsidize the Licensure Examination Registration fee, renewal fee, and application fee.
Also to be in consultations with NTC to exercise patience with private school teachers with any sanction for those who do not have the License.
