The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially triggered the enrollment process for 6,867 eligible nurses and midwives for the 2026/27 service year. In a press release issued today, January 19, 2026, the Authority announced that Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes are now live for qualified health professionals.
However, graduates are facing a high-pressure timeline, as the portal will remain open for only four days, closing strictly on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Who is Eligible?
This specific enrollment phase is dedicated to candidates who:
Successfully passed the March/April 2025 Licensing Examinations (minor season).
Were included in the verified list submitted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana on January 16, 2026.
The 3-Step Retrieval Process
To prevent delays, the NSA management, led by Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh, advises candidates to follow this specific retrieval protocol:
Visit the Portal: Go to the official NSA site at gnsa.gov.gh/home.
Authentication: Use your Student ID number and date of birth to locate your unique PIN code.
Payment: Pay the mandatory GH₵41.00 registration fee via Mobile Money to unlock the full enrollment form.

Important Legal and Administrative Notice
The Authority emphasizes that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), this service is a non-negotiable legal requirement for all tertiary graduates aged 18 and above.
