Sad observations on SHS placement site when using the vouchers
The team at Ghana Education News has observed challenges faced by students and parents as they check their progress. This publication shares these observations on the SHS placement site using the vouchers.
Observations on the SHS placement site using the vouchers
1. When you didn’t get the index number right from the first attempt or trial and you realise that you have made a mistake, the second trial or attempt will give you the feedback “Voucher code invalid or used by another index.”
2. When you forget to add 23 to the index to make it 12 digits in your first attempt or trial and you realise that, your second attempt will give you the feedback “Voucher code invalid or used by another index number,”
3. When you mistakenly miss or key the voucher code or the pin wrongly in the first attempt, in your second attempt, you will receive the response “Voucher code invalid or used by another index.”
FAQS: What can one do then?
Ans: Unfortunately, such a code can’t be used, even though it couldn’t check the placement. One will have to buy a different code or voucher, and this time around, get everything right on the first attempt.
Note:
The cssps.gov.gh site isn’t like the WAEC sites that give you the chance to retry when you make a mistake. So let’s try our best to get it right on the first attempt at checking the placement.

Kindly add 23 to the end of your index number to make it 12 digits. Example: 1010101010 should be 101010101023. Before you check,
In a related development, SHS1 students are to report to school on December 4th to start their enrollment process. Parents whose wards have been placed in secondary schools as boarding students are advised to buy the list of items early to avoid higher prices as of December.
We hope the sad observations on the SHS placement site when using the vouchers shared in this post have been useful.
