Son beheads father in Central Region: Disturbing Pictures Have Left Many Crying
This “Son beheads father at Assin Akrofuom in Central Region: may sound strange, but that is the reality as far as human wickedness and the absence of love for one another can lead us as humans.
The suspect is 25-year-old Richard Manu, the son of the deceased Kwaku Manu. Mr. Kwaku Manu was allegedly beheaded by his own son in the Assin South District of the Central Region.
The suspect, who is also known as Azonto, indicated after the devilish act that his father had spiritually exchanged his prosperous destiny with that of his twin senior brother, leading to the attack on the father.
He did not explain how he came to these conclusions; however, reports have indicated that right after he committed the alleged crime, he directed his anger towards her mother and inflicted cutlass wounds on her. He did not spare other family members who were around when the incident happened.
According to an eyewitness account given by a neighbour in the vicinity, he was far asleep when his wife shouted his name to come out and see what was happening.
An eyewitness told Adom News, “I was asleep when my wife shouted my name.”

“I came out only to find the man slashing his father. So I took a stick, but he threatened to cut me, and so I ran out to seek help. When I returned, police patrol cars had already arrested him,” Kojo narrated.
Kojo added that “he [the suspect] and his dad got along well; they don’t have any grudges. They even sleep together.”
The alleged killer was lucky to have been saved by the police, while the youth in the area were about to lynch him.
News such as “Son Beheads Father” has not been in the news in recent times, and everyone is worried about the actions of Richard Manu.
Under police protection, the suspect is currently receiving treatment at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu after the police prevented a lynching.
The suspect’s uncle, Okyeame Kwame Amankrah, the Akyeamehene of Assin Akrofuom, who also experienced the attack, was shocked by the development.
