How to merged SSNIT to Ghana Card Number To CAGD Status: Step-by-step guide
There are many workers who have gone through the procedure for merging their SSNIT or Ghana Card Numbers however, they can not confirm the status of their merger. The post will also explain the steps you can follow to check if you have successfully linked your Ghana Card to the Controller and Accountant Generals Department (CAGS) system so that you do not experience delays or the withholding of your salary from March 2024, as announced by the government.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR MERGER STATUS
To check the status of your merging of the Ghana Card Number and SSNIT, follow the four easy steps below.
- Dial *711*9# and hit send to proceed.
- Select option 2 (“Check merger status”) and proceed.
- Enter SSNIT or Ghana Card Number and proceed (the numbers can be found on the cards you were issued by SSNIT and by the National Identification Authority).
- You will receive an email message confirming your merger status.
If you do not receive an email, it may be that either you are not logged into the email you used, or the email you provided is wrong, or you have not successfully merged the two numbers as required.
In such an instance, do well to check this out quickly by visiting the nearest SSNIT office. Although you can check this out through their social media and office lines for help, the best thing to do to get a reliable and prompt response is to go to their nearest office.
How to confirm that your Ghana Card Number has been successfully linked to the CAGD system
Step 1: Check if you have linked the Ghana Card to the CAGD system.
To confirm that your Ghana Card Number has been successfully linked to the CAGD system, just follow the five simple steps below.
- Dial *711*9# and hit enter to proceed.
- Select option 1 “Merge” and hit enter to proceed.
- Enter your SSNIT number (carefully enter the correct SSNIT number and a confirmation check), then hit enter to proceed.
- Enter the Ghana Card Number too. Carefully enter the correct Ghana Card number and corss check, then hit enter to proceed.
- When successful, you will receive a confirmation message in your email or active phone number.

If you do not receive a message in any of the two options, it may be that either you are not logged into the email you used, or the email you provided is wrong, or you have not successfully merged the two numbers as required.
In such an instance, do well to contact the appropriate office for the needed corrections to be done for you.
