St. Louis SHS Triumphs, Secures a Spot in the 2023 NSMQ Semi-Finals
St. Louis SHS foiled every effort of Ashanti Regional NSMQ champions Anglican SHS and Wesley Grammar School to book their enviable seat in the Semifinals of the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
Ahead of the quarter-final clash, an overconfident Ashanti Regional NSMQ champion, Anglican SHS located in Kumasi, described the contestants from St. Louis SHS as girls who were coming to contest in a beauty pageant.
At the end of the contest, St. Louis SHS pooled 50 points, Anglican SHS, Kumasi scored 24 points while Wesley Grammar School got just 21 points in their quarter-final clash.
Heads in hands & hands on knees as Super KASS’ participation in this year’s competition has been cut off by St. Louis.
In their round of 16 clash, they silenced the over loud Adisadel College who managed just 23 points. In that contest, St. Louis SHS grabbed a convincing 53pts while the whipping boys were those from Abuakwa State College who managed to score 19pts.
This is another giant-killing feat by St. Louis, as another regional champion goes down in the hands of Louis. They have been described as slayers of Regional Champions in the 2023 NSMQ.

Spectators at the event described the candidates of St. Louis SHS as girls with brains. They have been tipped to outperform other schools in their Semifinal clash and book a spot in the finals of the 2023 NSMQ finals.
Since the NSMQ started some thirty years ago, no girl’s school has ever won the prestigious competition.

On the day St. Louis SHS answered 2/4 of the riddles correctly and went home with One thousand Ghana cedis prize money from that.
Philipa Afiryie Ennuson and Faizatu Mbo Abu Safianu the contestants for St. Louis proved to be a great pair of quality and well-composed brains for the lads from Anglican SHS and Wesley Grammar SHS.

Should St. Louis SHS make it to the finals, nearly the entire nation will be looking forward to them annexing the enviable title as the first all-female school to win the NSMQ
