Stay Home if Sick directive to all teachers and students is a timely one from (NaSIA).
Teachers and students have been advised to stay at home if they feel unwell. The advice emanating from the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) is in the response to the sudden rise in Ghana’s coronavirus cases.
Stay Home if Sick – (NaSIA)
NaSIA indicated that staff of the education service who are sick or do not feel well should not go to school.
This was made public in a communique sighted by Ghanaeducation.org. It authority said leaders of the various schools ensure that teachers and students who are unwell stay home or visit the health facilities in their localities for professional treatment for whatever their health problem may be.
“Learners, teachers, and any other staff who are sick or feel sick should not come to school. All schools should ensure they stay home or visit the hospital for proper treatment,” it Authority stated in the communique.

It is hoped that the Stay Home if Sick suggestion by (NaSIA) will be implemented in both private and public schools.
