Information reaching Ghanaeducation.org shows, the Board has duly been served the INTERLOCUTORY INJUNCTION from the Accra High Court.
The GNAT leadership has taken the decision because due to efforts to alter details about the GNAT PROVIDENT FUND (GPF) which is the brainchild of the union.
To ensure its interest is fully respected and protected, GNAT and has therefore directed that:
1. The Teachers Provident Fund (TPF) be reversed to its original name; GNAT PROVIDENT FUND (GPF).
2. The Current Board of the GPF be replaced with an interim Board.
3. Any meeting of any sort not authorized by the NCoG is therefore illegal, null and void, and of no effect.
The application for a court injunction on the activities of the Board of Trustees of Teachers Provident Fund was triggered by a text message making rounds on various social media platforms asking members to nominate persons to serve as Trustees for the GNAT Provident Fund (Teachers Provident Fund).
