Watch The Three-Part BBC Documentary On 'The Cult of TB Joshua'

Get to watch the horrific three-part documentary on The Cult of TB Joshua released by BBC.

The extensively reported investigative documentary on a prominent African pastor who subjected his followers to horrific violations of human rights has been aired by the BBC, a public broadcaster in the United Kingdom.

The late, highly regarded Nigerian prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), turned out to be the pastor in question.

Early on January 8, 2024, the BBC broadcast a three-part series titled DISCIPLES: The Cult of TB Joshua, with each episode lasting an average of fifty minutes.

A special screening is planned for Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in Accra.

In the videos Ghanaeducation.org was able to view, some of Joshua’s victims detailed the allegedly terrifying experiences they had.

The majority spoke with intense anguish, while some sobbed and claimed, among other things, that they were under the false impression that Joshua was only abusing them personally and that many other people were also victims.

A few of the victims, who also happened to be close friends of Joshua, talked about his love of money, his ability to manipulate his followers, and his acknowledged vow to exact revenge for the wrongdoings of colonialism.

Additionally, there was the part about Joshua’s rise to prominence in political circles as a result of his extravagant visits to presidents and the similar visits that African leaders made to SCOAN.

Temitope Balogun Joshua, also referred to as T. B. Joshua, was a charismatic Nigerian televangelist, pastor, and philanthropist.

He was the founder and head of SCOAN, one of the major mega churches in the continent, which is based in Lagos and operates the Emmanuel TV television station. Joshua passed away on June 5, 2021, at his base in Lagos, Nigeria. He was born on June 12, 1963, in Ondo, Nigeria.
