To Condemn Homosexual Is A Sin – Pope France Reveals
On his journey home from South Sudan on Sunday, Pope Francis declared that God supports and loves persons who are attracted to members of the same sex.
Pope Francis stated that the catechism teaches that people with same-sex orientation should not be ostracized when asked by a journalist what the pope would say to families in the Congo and South Sudan who reject their children because they are gay.
“Homosexual tendencies belong to God’s children. God cherishes them. On February 5, 2023, the pope announced during a news conference that God was with them. He had just returned from Juba.
“It is wrong to judge someone in this way. It is unfair to criminalize those who have gay tendencies, he continued.
Pope Francis was joined for the first time during a papal visit by two other Christian leaders: the moderator of the Church of Scotland, Iain Greenshields, who also took part in the “ecumenical pilgrimage of peace” in South Sudan from February 3–5, and his Anglican counterpart, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.
The three Christian leaders discussed mining in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the conflict in Ukraine, and South Sudan’s peace process while also fielding questions from the audience.
Pope Francis stated that the Congo is “not the playground of major nations,” and Welby stated that he “wholeheartedly agreed” with that statement.
In the South Sudanese peace process, Greenshields continued, “actions speak louder than words.”
After the passing of his predecessor, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, conflicts within the Catholic Church were addressed by only Pope Francis.
Francis claimed that “those who desire to serve their own interests” were behind Benedict’s death.
Francis stated that those who use such a good and holy person as a political pawn are unethical.
Regarding prospective future papal travel, Pope Francis stated that he wishes to visit India in 2019.
The 86-year-old pope stated that he will be attending a conference of Mediterranean bishops in Marseille, France, in September and added that “there is a chance from Marseille to go to Mongolia.”
Pope Francis mentioned that he has discussed the acceptance of persons who have same-sex inclinations several times during in-flight press briefings in answer to the question.
On his way home from Brazil in 2013, the pope stated, “If a person with homosexual tendencies is a believer and seeks God, why am I to judge him? “ The pope reaffirmed that statement. I mentioned this during that trip.
He also suggested that parents shouldn’t exclude kids with this orientation from their households during a press conference he gave while flying back from Ireland in 2018.
Pope Francis stressed once more how unjust the criminalization of homosexuality is, noting that he just discussed it in an interview with the Associated Press.
I regret not speaking as gracefully and plainly as the pope, I want to express. Every single thing he stated there, I completely concur with,” Welby remarked.
This will be the principal topic of discussion for the next four days at the General Synod of the Church of England, and I will undoubtedly reference the Holy Father, he continued.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that homosexual actions are “intrinsically disordered” and “under no circumstances can they be approved,” although those with homosexual tendencies should be treated with dignity and unfair discrimination should be avoided.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The Pope is only defending evil. Children of God don’t bow to this idea it is from the pit of hell..he’s only talking on behalf of himself and the Catholics…. please, God is not in support of this. Don’t forget the story of Sodom and Gomorrah… Run for your salvation…
