Trending Video: Punish Adanwomase SHS Students For Indecent Touching of Female Students

The Ghana Education Service (GES) must take proactive, swift, and actionable steps against all students of Adanwomase Senior High School who took part in the inappropriate, amoral, and indecent touching of female students in the stands during the recent inter-school regional competition held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
This level of indiscipline cannot be swept under the carpet and must not be allowed to go unpunished if we are to collectively guide the behavior and conduct of Free SHS students the government is spending the taxpayers’ resources on.
The act, which was captured on a viral video by one of the students at the scene, has since been condemned by the general public. Many have described it as irresponsible behavior by the students caught on video holding the backside of girls who walked past them at the stadium.
The GES cannot pretend not to have sighted the video on social media. Each of the students who participated actively and inactively in the amoral behavior was caught on video, which should help in the easy investigation of the matter at the school and district level.
The Ghana Education News portal is therefore calling on the Director-General of GES and the Minister of Education to take action on the matter.
Below are some reactions by Ghanaians on X, which give a clear picture of how the Ghanaian public feels about this behavior and why the GES must take action to ensure discipline among SHS students wherever they may be found.
