UG revised arrangements for 2nd Semester out

Ghana Education News| August 2021| UG releases revised arrangements for resumption of 2nd Semester

The University of Ghana has released revised arrangements for the resumption of the 2nd Semester after the 23rd August meeting held by the university.

According to the university, it has ratified the decision for the second-semester examination for level 100 and 400 students which are to take place from August 25th to September 9th, 2021.

The level 100 and 400 students have been advised to visit the school’s portal https://sts.ug.edu.gh/timetable/ for all the details regarding their semester examination.

They are also to consult the examiners for the offsite examination arrangements to ensure the assessment is successful.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE RESUMPTION OF

THE SECOND SEMESTER, 2020/2021

Subsequent to the suspension of the industrial action by the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), the Business and Executive Committee at a meeting held on August 23, 2021 ratified the decision for the second semester exams for Levels 100 and 400 to take place from August 25 to September 9, 2021, and further took the following decisions:

  • September 16, 2021 – Levels 200 and 300 report for the Second Semester
  • September 20, 2021, Teaching begins for Levels 200 and 300.

 

Levels 100 and 400 students should browse the online daily time-table  (https://sts.ug.edu.gh/timetable/) for details on onsite examinations or consult their Examiners for offsite examination arrangements.

 

Levels 200 and 300 students are advised to check the University Website for the details of the revised calendar of the second semester here: https://www.ug.edu.gh/academics/calendar .

 

All students, faculty and staff are entreated to adhere to directives circulated in this regard.
