UPDATE: Two(2) Wanted NDC Thugs Arrested
Two people who were wanted in connection with the violence that broke out at the NDC’s National Youth and Women’s Congress on December 10, 2022, in Cape Coast in the Central Region have been caught by the police.
A police report said that Abdul Halid Shaibu, also known as Oluu, and Ibrahim Razak were two of the 16 people who were wanted for their part in the disturbances.
The police said that they were caught on January 7, 2023, at Tamale in the Northern Region as part of a targeted intelligence operation.
The police have taken the two suspects into custody and are using them to help with their investigations.
The police said that the suspect’s faces were shown because they were already on a list of people who were wanted. This was done to get the public’s help in catching them.
In a statement, the police said, “The targeted intelligence operations to catch the last 14 suspects are still going on, and we want to reassure the public that we will get them to face justice.”
