General Admission Requirements

Applicants can apply with the following:

• A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institution in relevant discipline with;

a) a second class lower or better

b) a third class, however such applicants will be required to go through screening and selection interview to ascertain their suitability for admission

• Relevant recognized full professional qualification such as ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CPA, ICSA and CIB.

• International applicants with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in related fields recognized by Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.

(b) Completion of Online Application Form

All applications must be completed on-line i.e.

Log on to https://upsasip.com/adm-area/
Use the Online Serial Numbers (OSN) and the receipt number to access the on-line application form.
Fill in the application form and submit it online.

(c) Attachment of Supporting Documents

Applicants are also expected to scan and submit the following documents to their online application. All such documents to be attached must be scanned into PDF format:

Copies of certified academic certificates and transcripts
Two recommendation letters (i.e., on the applicant’s ability to undertake doctoral studies)
Personal Statement (i.e., applicant’s motivation to pursue doctoral studies)
Copy of birth certificate.
Copy of a 3-5 pages research proposal; and
Copy of Curriculum Vitae (CV)
