US Dollar to Ghanaian Cedi Exchange Rate and other Interbank exchange rates quoted by the Bank of Ghana
The Interbank exchange rates quoted by the Bank of Ghana have gone up and have crossed the $1 to GHS9.00 mark for the first time since Mid December 2022. Until today, the BoG rates have been below GHS9.00 while those quoted by Forex Bureaus have hovered between GHS11.00 and GS12.5.
The Interbank rates quoted by the BoG today show that the Cedi continues to depreciate against the dollar and other major trading currencies. The rates quoted for the three major trading currencies today by the BoG are as follows
1 USD >>>>> GHS9.0002 (BUYING) and GHS9.0091 (SELLING)
1 GBP >>>>> GHS10.8110 (BUYING) and GHS910.8237 (SELLING)
1 EUR >>>>> GHS9.5361 (BUYING) and GHS9.5455 (SELLING)
However, the rates quoted by the banks and forex bureaus are far higher than the rates of the BoG

At the GCB, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS10.0 and the sell rate was GHS11.65.
At the Stanbic Bank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.70 and the sell rate was GHS11.70
At the ABSA, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS10.50 and the sell rate was GHS12.50
At Fidelity Bank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS10.60 and the sell rate was GHS12.65.
At CBG, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.10 and the sell rate was GHS12.05
At the CalBank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.50 and the sell rate was GHS12.01
At the Societe Generale, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.50 and the sell rate was GHS12.59
At the Ghana Association of Forex Bureaux, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS10.80 and the sell rate was GHS12.00
At the Binance P2P, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS11.95 and the sell rate was GHS11.99
