The US Dollar to Ghanaian Cedi Exchange Rate for Today 31st December 2022 which happens to be the last day of the year seems to favour the Cedi as the Cedi has appreciated today compared to the rates quoted Yesterday by Google and Tap Tap Send App.
While Google started the day on 30th December at $1 to GHS10.38, that of Tap Tap Send was GHS10.80 while Sendwave was $1 = 10.53ghc and Dollar Festus @ Mamobi quoted $1 = 11.30 ghc.
This morning as at 7 am, Google quoted $1 for GHS10.20. This translates into an 18 Pesewas gain for the Cedi. However Forex Bureau Rates for on 31st Dec 2022 at 08:00 AM the dollar is GHS12.00. The buying rate on the other hand is GHS11.00 for a dollar.

Given that the US Dollar to Ghanaian Cedis Exchange Rate from Google has gone down by 18P up we expect the rates by the banks and the interbank rate by the bank of Ghana to be in favour of the cedi marginally.
Per the rates quoted for the dollar by Cedi Rates.
At the GCB, the Buy rate for the dollar was 9.00 and the sell rate was GHS11.85.
At the Stanbic Bank, the Buy rate for the dollar was 9.00 and the sell rate was GHS11.00
At the ABSA, the Buy rate for the dollar was 8.70 and the sell rate was GHS10.90
At Fidelity Bank, the Buy rate for the dollar was 9 and the sell rate was GHS11.80.
At the CalBank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.00 and the sell rate was GHS11.90
